Abstract

This study aims to determine the teaching style used by teachers in the learning process of grade VI students at SD Inpres 12/79 Tappale, student learning outcomes in the learning process of grade VI Islamic religious education, and the effect of teacher teaching style on student learning outcomes at the school. This research was conducted in January with the research subjects being grade VI students at SD Inpres 12/79 Tappale. The approach used is a quantitative approach with two variables: teacher teaching style (variable X) and student learning outcomes (variable Y). The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire with 20 statements, and data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The population of this study were all grade VI students totaling 12 people, and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique, so that the entire population was sampled. Data were obtained through a questionnaire filled out by 12 respondents in class VI. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and regression analysis. The results showed that the teaching style used by grade VI Islamic Religious Education teachers at SD Inpres 12/79 Tappale was a personal teaching style, which was in the high category. The teaching style of Islamic Religious Education teachers has a significant positive influence on student learning outcomes, as indicated by the correlation value (r) of 2.41, and the value of t count = 3.160 compared to t table = 1.812, so that the proposed hypothesis can be accepted.
